Operation
Closet Computer

A mission in motion. Operation Closet Computer is actively getting off the ground — collecting hardware, building partnerships, and working toward getting machines into the hands of people who need them.

The Mission

Access to a computer shouldn't be a privilege. For those with a tight budget, job seekers at shelters, or students without devices, a refurbished machine can change the trajectory of their lives.

Operation Closet Computer started with a simple observation: there's a lot of forgotten hardware out there, and a lot of people who could use it. This project is my effort to connect those two things.

This is a project I'm building alongside a full schedule — it's a work in progress, and I'm proud of that. Follow along as it grows.

The Process

01

Collection

Hardware donated by individuals and local businesses.

02

Assessment

Each machine is tested for functionality and repairability.

03

Rebuild

Full wipe, fresh OS install (usually Ubuntu or Windows 10 LTSC), drivers, and security hardening.

04

Delivery

Delivered to shelters, community centers, and nonprofits with basic tech orientation.
